77. . Forward. Kentucky. Kevin Knox. 13. player

The Los Angeles Clippers will be making their second selection in the first round very quickly after their first, as they have back-to-back picks. With the 12th pick, the Clippers added guard  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from Kentucky.

Right after taking one player from Kentucky, the Clippers will be taking another player from Kentucky in Kevin Knox. This combo did very well together at Kentucky, and the Clippers will be hoping they can bring that to the next level.

Knox is a very appealing prospect with his great size and ability to move. At 6’9”, Knox will be able to play at small forward in the NBA, which will help create mismatches for him. At Kentucky, Knox averaged 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

For Knox, one of the main areas that he will have to improve on is his consistency. At times, Knox would look like a Top 5 player in the country, but far too often he would disappear at times. Since he was just a freshman, not being consistent is all that surprising.

Knox certainly has the size and talent to become a very good player in the NBA. If he is able to become a bit more consistent, the Clippers will be getting a very solid player with the 13th overall pick.
