Duke. Marvin Bagley. 3. player. 125. . Power Forward

After a good run as a playoff team in the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks have fallen on tough times. It wasn’t too long ago that the Hawks had multiple All-Stars on their team. However, that team is no longer, and the Hawks are in a rebuilding mode.

With the third overall pick, the Hawks will be adding a talented big in Marvin Bagley. In his freshman season at Duke, Bagley was a force on one of the best teams in the country.

In his freshman season, Bagley averaged 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. In a frontcourt with Wendell Carter, who could also be a lottery pick, Bagley was able to have some impressive stats.

At 6’11”, Bagley was able to shoot nearly 40 percent from three-point range, which is very appealing as a prospect. The Hawks are a team that is in desperate need for talent at this point, but they do have a promising young big man in John Collins. Bagley was able to play well alongside another big in college, and he should be able to at the next level as well.

Pairing Collins and Bagley would set the Hawks up nicely for the future in their frontcourt for years to come.
