November 21st @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Another one of the big games for the Lakers will be a special one for James. This offseason, the Lakers were able to convince James to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time. Since the Cavaliers are his hometown team, leaving them was surely not an easy thing.

With the Cavaliers the second time around, James was able to bring them to the NBA Finals four consecutive times and delivered on his promise of bringing them a championship. Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, with James gone, they will not be going to the NBA Finals this season.

The loss of James has certainly crippled the Cavaliers once again, and they will have a few tough years ahead of them. For James, he should be receiving a warm reception going back to Cleveland, as he carried the franchise for many years.

On the court, the Lakers should be able to handle the Cavaliers rather easily. The Lakers will also be seeing some familiar faces, as Larry Nance Jr. and Jordan Clarkson are still on the Cavaliers. Even though the game against the Cavaliers likely won’t be one of the best to watch, it will be a big moment during the season for James.
