2.Did the Los Angeles Lakers look at film of their defense?

"It needed work and a lot of work. Especially with the bench players. Jamal Murray had a ball in the first half to the point the Nuggets put stock in Phillips 66 on the Lakers. Understand that Gary Harris did not even play in the game! The Lakers gave up too many offensive rebounds that led to so many 3-point shots. I noticed on Twitter somebody saying…”Doesn’t it seem like the Nuggets have hit 50 3’s tonight?” For the record, they only had 13 for the game, but it does seem that way when you struggle to get defensive rebounds."

Aftermath…

This Lakers team can’t get a rebound with a trampoline when JaVale McGee sits down. The Kyle Kuzma at center experiment can stop. Let me help. It does not work. In the first half, the Lakers rebounded and you can watch the video again to see what happens. When the Lakers don’t defend…well you see the outcome. Watching the bench play defense is like those Yeezy shows the NBA just banned…just distracting.  There were times that it looked like a lay up drill for the Nuggets as the Lakers have no resistance when the starters sit. The Denver Nuggets won this game WITHOUT their starting backcourt.
