Will Brandon Ingram figure out the NBA game?

Remember this phrase?

"“He has the highest upside and he has the talent to get his own shot. Figuring out the game is not about talent, it’s about the neck up. Brandon Ingram has to be ready to build on taking his place as the second option. LeBron James is now, but Ingram is the future,”"

Now let’s talk about the Clippers game. For the last couple of days, everyone started paying attention to Brandon Ingram! The LeBron James quotes about his potential, the All-Star aspirations, and articles praising him to the skies…

Ingram scored ten points on 3-10 shooting. He looked disjointed as the free flowing offense that was evident against the Kings did not travel to Anaheim on the team plane. Here’s where Brandon Ingram needs to grow as a player, ESPECIALLY in the spotlight of a LeBron James led team. The numbers show that Ingram was not as aggressive and did not look for his own shot like a player of his caliber should. With his talent, he should have ten shots by the time the National Anthem is over. The question is…

Is the difference of production based on having the ball in his hands more to get his rhythm? Time will tell, but this is a big learning experience for Ingram.
