3. This would be the third time he has turned around a struggling franchise

Whether Lebron did it by teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh for the Miami Heat or coming back to help Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers finally bring a championship to Cleveland, Lebron has always had an immediate impact on his new team.

Leading a Lakers team that had 35 wins last season, with eight new players, to the playoffs would erase all doubt that Lebron James “Only won because he was in the East” narrative that has been going on his entire career.

The Western Conference is looking like it will once again end up a complete bloodbath. With 47 wins being last year’s magic number for getting into the playoffs, Lebron would need to elevate the Lakers by at least 12 wins to be on pace with the previous year.

With the Western Conference at its peak cannibalistic state, leading this team to 48-50 wins and a playoff berth would be his most impressive version of NBA Kitchen Nightmares yet.
