9. Nick Young

The Lakers fan base has been familiar with Nick Young since he was a standout guard at the local college, University of Southern California, but he transformed into a unique personality in the NBA.

When they initially signed him, it was thought that he could be a solid wing scorer and 3-point assassin off the bench. Yet, his time with the Lakers will probably be remembered for the gif of him celebrating a shot that didn’t go in and him getting into a feud with former number two pick D’Angelo Russell.

Young seemed more interested in off the court antics during his time with the team than actual success on the floor. It definitely crept into the rest of the Laker culture and locker room. His most notable incident was not necessarily his fault but it involved D’Angelo Russell posting a video that revealed Nick Young’s relationship secrets, that eventually lead to a feud between the two and labeled the Lakers lottery pick a snitch around the league.

When he was with the team they went 91-237 and it was the worst 4-year stretch in team history. To make matters even worse, the year after he left the team, he won a championship with the Lakers rival in the bay, the Golden State Warriors.
