4) Lonzo Ball is the Los Angeles Lakers Point Guard! Now…Not The Future!

Before we get started. Does anyone see a trend going on with Lonzo Ball? His first shot seems to be always an air balled three! Remember the movie Any Given Sunday? Willie Beamen, played by Jamie Foxx seemed to always throw up in the first series then ball out? Well I see the real life version here. Everybody clowns the airball on Twitter, but he quietly had a great floor game scoring 14 points on 5-9 shooting and knocked down three shots from the land of the extra point…

Now look at the reward of bulking up his body…

Watch how he puts his his shoulder into Forbes to create the space to get his shot off. This is what I call Bully Ball!

Oh he hits in OT too?

Here’s what the Lakers need to do, lock Lonzo Ball in a room with Jason Kidd and watch film of Jason’s first years in the league. Everyone is complaining about Ball’s shot, but Kidd couldn’t shoot a lick either when he got in the league. But his playmaking instincts made him a Hall of Famer. Ball showed those instincts last night. Time to build on this momentum by starting him and letting him grow.

Lonzo needs to replace Rajon Rondo in the starting lineup. This fact showed with his play and the fact that the offense was free flowing and the ball movement improved greatly.
