Key Player Grades

Los Angeles Lakers. LANCE STEPHENSON. A+. Two words – Born Ready. Lance Stephenson might have just given the Lakers his performance of the year. The eight-year pro showed out to the tune of 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Yes these are Lance Stephenson’s stats – not LeBron James’s. Even more impressive was Stephenson’s efficiency as he shot 71.4 percent from the floor. If Stephenson can consistently produce even half of what he did today, the Lakers’ bench can easily boost to top-3 in the league.. SG

B+. LeBron James shot would still not fall as the King finished with 19 points on 43.8 percent shooting from the floor and 20 percent from deep. Although he continued to struggle with his shooting, James absolutely ruled all the other stats. He added seven rebounds and 10 assists, all while not turning the ball over once. In addition to all of this, LeBon made his Lakers fans proud as he made all four of his free-throw attempts. Lastly, James was active on the defensive end as he chipped in three steals. Finishing the night off with 19/7/10 may not be as great as the King would like, but he managed to do all that in only 28 minutes of action while getting the team their first win. Since he is well rested, LeBron should be able to perform highly in tonight’s marquee matchup against the Nuggets.. SF. Los Angeles Lakers. LEBRON JAMES
