2. Pau Gasol for Rajon Rondo/Lance Stephenson + KCP + 2nd Round Pick

This might just be a sentimental idea more than anything, but I think we would all love to see Pau Gasol in the purple and gold again.

With the Spurs recently losing Dejounte Murray for the season to a torn ACL, Derrick White (2-4 weeks) to a heel injury, and Lonnie Walker IV (4-6 weeks) to a torn meniscus, the Spurs desperately need depth at the guard position if they want to remain in the hunt for a playoff spot.

In addition, LaMarcus Aldridge and newly acquired big man Jakob Poeltl will take up a bulk of the minutes at Center, potentially leaving Pau as the odd man out on the Spurs big man rotation.

Pau may not be a spring chicken anymore, and will probably not be able to run at the fast-tempo that Luke wants this team to play, but his skills as a passer, rebounder, and shooter can still be useful for when the team wants to slow things down and play more half-court offense.

The Lakers can offer up either Lance Stephenson or Rajon Rondo along with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, as well as some draft compensation to help get a deal done.

The big question on this potential deal is whether or not Pop is willing to make a deal with the Lakers.
