Lesson Number Two…JaVale McGee is making millions of dollars by the day!
The Los Angeles Lakers are making moves to get Tyson Chandler into the fold to back up JaVale McGee. Let me give the front office some advice…PAY JAVALE McGEE!…NOW! The Lakers would have lost the lead last night if it wasn’t for the rim protection of McGee. He blocked two shots in crunch time to stave off the Portland comeback.
In 27 minutes, JaVale McGee scored 12 points, corralled nine rebounds and blocked six shots. That doesn’t even count all of the shots he bothered. When he sat down, Damian Lillard started a layup line for himself.

This play never happens without JaVale McGee setting a strong pick on C.J. McCollum. McCollum can’t keep up, falls down and Brandon takes off and finishes the play. These are plays that are not making the stat sheets and what is sorely lacking from the other players on the team on a consistent basis. JaVale has done all of the little things that has made his teammates better.
Maybe this guy could take some notes…
