1. Michael Beasley

Michael Beasley was definitely the most questionable offseason acquisition for the Lakers and it has been glaringly obvious just 14 games into the season. Beasley has been nowhere to be found this season for a variety of reasons and has been limited to playing in just 3 games and a shocking 11 minutes total.

He missed time earlier in the season because of a personal reason and he missed five games during that span. Then after he returned to the team last week he missed time again for a family health issue.

Even before those personal issues kept him off the floor, Beasley was getting hardly any playing time because of the Lakers depth at the forward position. It was thought that Beasley could add a scoring punch of the bench and be able to help with back up center duties, but now with Chandler in the mix there is even less minutes to go around in the front court.

Last season, Beasley had a renaissance year and one of the best seasons of his career scoring wise, posting his best points per game average since 2010. It does not look like the Beasley is going to get off the bench much for the Lakers this season, but he definitely still has enough in the tank to help another team in the league.

Since he has an expiring contract at the end of the season and he can add instant scoring off the bench for someone else it should not be that difficult to find a suitor for Beasley. The Lakers should try to get anything they can for him especially if they can find another stabilizing veteran presence to add into their locker room. Beasley also does not have very much playoff experience, so it is not like all his leadership will be missed very much.

Since Beasley was added in the offseason as a free agent, he technically cannot be traded until December 15th of this year, but after that date passes it would not be surprise to see the Lakers move on from Beasley. He is formerly one of the biggest draft busts of all-time, and so far this season he has been the Lakers biggest bust of the offseason, so it could be time to move on from one of the characters that helped generate the Meme team nickname.
