2. LeBron James can still carry a team

Turning 34-years old next month, many people are expecting Father Time to eventually catch up to LeBron James. When that time will come is anyone’s guess, as he looks like he will fight him off for as long as he wants.

James is leading the Lakers in points, rebounds, assists and steals. During this road trip, James single-handily led the team to their two victories.

Against the Heat, James scored 51 points, shooting 19-of-31 from the field and 6-of-8 from distance. He added eight rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals. His revenge tour didn’t stop there, as he also led the way against the Cavaliers.

While not as memorable as a 51-point game, James still dominated the Cavaliers. He scored 31 points, shooting 11-of-20 from the field and 2-of-6 from the 3-point line. This time he grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds, seven assists and one block.

James bailed the Lakers out during this three-game trip, willing them to victory against his old teams. That is not something they can rely on throughout an 82-game season, but it is nice to know that James is still capable of carrying the load when need be.
