The Los Angeles Lakers were unable to exact some revenge on the Orlando Magic, losing for the second time in about a week. Check out our three lessons learned from the loss.

If this game wasn’t so close for the Los Angeles Lakers, I swear I was going to get my editors to run the same post game report from a week ago…

Outside of the difference of uniforms, the Lakers played almost the exact same listless way in the second and third quarters on the defensive.

They let the same Magic players, being Nikola Vucevic and D.J. Augustin, lead the way in dismantling the back line.

Well, this one had the Los Angeles Lakers fans buzzing! The topic of conversation was…Who do we blame for this loss? Well, there is a lot to go around, but bad habits that the Lakers have practiced all season long came back to bite them in this game.

The Lakers blew a 12-point lead to the Orlando Magic and lost 108-104 in a game that the Lakers really could have used for momentum leading into Tuesday night’s game on the road against the Denver Nuggets.

This home loss showed every single issue that Lake Show Life has covered all season long. Granted, the Lakers are winning games and are on the best start the franchise has had in years, but this piece will show that the Lakers are struggling to beat teams that have less talent than they do but continue to play hard and keep pace until the end.

The Lakers played a more entertaining version of bad basketball than they did against Utah…

Real bad defensive breakdowns in the second and third quarters combined with turnovers and free throw shooting woes continue to haunt and frustrate Lakers fans.

Most fans pointed to LeBron James and pined for Kobe Bryant to come back and close games out for the Lakers like he did so many times in the past, but this is not the case here.

LeBron James had an okay game in a sense, but the real culprit will be shone later on. Stay tuned for it because it will surprise you…

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to have to wrap their minds around this concept for the rest of the year…

ALL NBA teams are going to gear up and give the Lakers their best game because of LeBron James and the attention that he commands not just from the Lakers, but the entire league. If this team does not match the effort, this is going to happen a lot this season.

Here are the three lessons!
