3. Opposing guards must send limos to get the Laker guards!

Why? Because they want to make sure they get to the arena so they can get their numbers. The Lakers’ perimeter and transition defense are totally atrocious. It has been that way all year. The difference against the Nuggets was that Denver has skilled big men that JaVale and Tyson have to pay attention to.

The guards did a bad job of making entry passes difficult.

Svi right here is out of position and allows an easy pass into a cutting Trey Lyles. By then, the defense is totally broken down as Ivica Zubac is forced to contest. Mason Plumlee has easy access following up for the dunk. Why? Lance Stephenson did not rotate.

As for defending the guards…

Jamal Murray uses a simple pick for a jump shot. Two issues here, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope goes under the pick and Michael Beasley is caught in no man’s land while the shot goes in.
