Who got invited to the Lakers block party??
The Los Angeles Lakers really made the Indiana Pacers look bad on offense. Victor Oladipo did not play in the game because of knee soreness, but to be honest, I really don’t think it would have mattered.
The Lakers had ten blocks in the game led by guess who, but JaVale McGee with four. What shots the Lakers didn’t block, they were either changed or the Pacers were looking over their shoulders while they missed easy layup.
Let’s look at the party list and who got invited…

According to this highlight, it looks like Darren Collison and Tyreke Evans were invited. After Collison stole the ball from LeBron James, Lonzo Ball hustles back with a sprained ankle and smashes it against the board. (On the sneak, Ball has some ups!) Brandon Ingram rushes back and supports Ball and throws Tyreke Evans shot out-of-bounds!
Well it seems Doug McDermott was invited to the block party…

With the game still in the balance, McDermott seemed to think he could rise for a lay up or get a foul or something. Tyson Chandler volleyball spiked the ball out and started a fast break. Watch where McDermott ends up…in photographer’s row out of camera view.
Here’s my personal favorite…

I’ll bet you thought the Indiana Pacers would never score after this play huh? The Pacers were on a 4-1 fast break and JaVale snuffed it out. JaVale had his block party and EVERYONE was invited!
