2. Lonzo Ball was “Big Baller Brand” tested
A lot discussion has been made by fans and the media (Lake Show Life included) about Lonzo Ball’s minutes have been handled…
Los Angeles Lakers: Luke Walton is sabotaging Lonzo Ball
Lonzo Ball did not play in the fourth quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Magic. After playing well the last few games, what gives?
It seems that the magic number for playing time for Ball in the Lakers wins is 30 minutes. If he plays more, the Lakers have a great record. On the other hand, if he plays less, the Lakers are well below .500
Lonzo Ball did not make the 30-minute mark against the Mavs. It wasn’t Luke Walton’s fault either. You see Ball fouled out. But he did some work in those 28 minutes.
Lonzo Ball scored 10 points, dished out four assists and had five steals. Plus, he was ultra aggressive. When the Lakers were behind and needed a spark, he teamed up with Brandon Ingram to pick up the pace and get the Lakers started on their run.
People seem to think that LeBron James is the only one to start a fast break! Check this play here.

Lonzo Ball receives the ball from Tyson Chandler and throws the quick hit-ahead pass to Kyle Kuzma, who hits Brandon Ingram in perfect stride for the slam dunk. No LeBron James here, no problem.
The biggest contribution was his work on the defensive end.
In these highlights, where these four steals occurred, Ball is willing to stick his nose in and be active when the ball was in the post. He stole the ball twice from behind DeAndre Jordan. which were turned into a layup and two free throws.
The steal from Doncic was very important in this game. This steal seemed to take the wind out of his sails for the rest of the game. At halftime, you could see the frustration as he slammed his hand on the bench as he went to the locker room.
Plus Lonzo was a part of the play of the night.

I mean this dude is going to be special if he just ignores the noise going on around him.

I mean, this dude receives the ball from LeBron and catches it with ONE HAND and throws a strike to JaVale McGee for the dunk! The instincts on this kid are unreal. To be able to have the body control and the presence of mind to see McGee running the lane is amazing!
Check it out again from another angle!
There’s a lot of rumblings of trading out the young guys and get some overpriced veterans to replace them! Okay. But Kyle Kuzma went nuts in the third quarter.

Plus Brandon Ingram did his thing as well scoring 19 points, grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists.
Want to drop their stock? Cool drop it. I’ll pick it up!
