After a great rookie season, Kyle Kuzma has been performing quite well for the Lakers once again this season. Right off the bat, Kuzma proved that he was going to be able to score in the NBA in his rookie season. As one of the top scorers for the Lakers last season, Kuzma is currently second on the team in scoring behind only LeBron James.
Kuzma has proven to be a great weapon playing alongside James with his ability to stretch the floor from the power forward position. When playing with James, shooters are going to get good looks from the perimeter, and Kuzma has been taking advantage of it.
Even though some believed that it would be Ingram who would be the second–leading scorer this season, it has been Kuzma so far. In two games against the Spurs this season, Kuzma has played really well. In the first game, Kuzma led the Lakers in scoring with 37 points on 15-for-25 shooting from the field.
In the second matchup, Kuzma played well again, as he totaled 15 points on 6-for-14 shooting from the field. As the second-leading scorer for the Lakers this season, it will be important for Kuzma to stretch the floor on Wednesday against the Spurs. Kuzma has played well against the Spurs this season, and the Lakers will hope that continues.
