Kevin Love and Chris Bosh did change their games, but did they adjust for only LeBron? Nope. Kevin Love adjusted for LeBron and Kyrie Irving. Chris Bosh changed for LeBron and Dwayne Wade.
Chris Bosh and Kevin Love modified their games for two Hall-of-Famers (Yes, Kyrie Irving will be a Hall-of-Famer). They both made the right choice. Bosh and Love were each putting up empty stats for two teams that weren’t close to making the NBA Finals. They both changed the way they played and their numbers dipped a little, but they both made multiple all-star games with their new teams and they both won at least one championship.
If Kawhi comes to the Lakers, he’ll be the same as Dwayne Wade or Kyrie Irving were with LeBron. Neither of them had to change, nor will Kawhi.
I give this Durant quote a 6 on a scale from 1-10.
The Lakers are 5th in the West and 11-3 since Tyson Chandler joined the team. Lonzo, Ingram, and Kuzma are looking more comfortable and as each week passes they are playing better and better.
