No. 4: Excellent team performance offensively

Overall, the Lakers’ performance offensively was strong. They shot their season average from the field and 3-point line in all but one of the games. The only game they failed to reach both numbers was in the finale when they suffered a meltdown in the fourth quarter on both ends of the court.

Los Angeles shot 48.1 percent overall from the field in the four games and 35.4 percent from deep. They averaged 122.3 points per game, which is well above their season average of 113.1 per game.

Kyle Kuzma provided a solid scoring punch, scoring at least 15 points in every game and three games of at least 22 points. In the first matchup, he led the way with 37 points. He was the only player other than LeBron James to score in double-figures in all four games.

Eight different players scored in double-figures at least once in the four games, however, as the team received contributions throughout. While he didn’t shoot the ball well in every game, it was nice to see how aggressive Lonzo Ball got in some of the games.

The offense was certainly not the issue for the Lakers in these four games.
