Los Angeles Lakers: 5 Lessons from win over Grizzlies

If you don’t know Tyson Chandler’s worth…you are not watching the games
Tyson Chandler is making me look like a genius…
In the era of analytics and fans wanting everyone on the NBA roster to knock down 3-pointers, you have guys like Tyson Chandler to come in and basically save the season for the Los Angeles Lakers. Tyson Chandler set screens to get the shooters open, ran the floor and grabbed 14 rebounds. What’s even more important was that he grabbed 4 of them on the offensive end to help the Lakers, who as a team grabbed a season high 19.
Combined with JaVale McGee’s double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, they combined to render Marc Gasol null and void in the game. They were the one that played the “Grit and Grind” game that Memphis is known for.
The Los Angeles Lakers are now 12-4 after Tyson Chandler received a uniform. It is not about the stats with this guy. He plays with so much passion and joy and it is transcending throughout the locker room. He has now become the undisputed leader that the Lakers lacked early in the season. Sometimes you don’t have to make a splash with a trade for a big name.
Signings like these work too.
