With the potential of Los Angeles Lakers trading their young core, here are three reasons why Kyle Kuzma should be untouchable.
There has been a lot of talk about whether or not the Los Angeles Lakers should trade members of their young core in order to get another superstar to pair with LeBron. This will likely be a hot debate for the rest of this season into the summer, as their are great points to be made on each side.
With the cap room necessary to sign a max free agent this offseason, the Lakers could wait for that to get a second start next to James without giving up their young core. However, if a great player like Anthony Davis becomes available, it would be hard to pass up on making an offer for a player of his caliber.
So far this season, the young core of the Lakers is playing well. Adjusting to playing with LeBron is not an easy thing, but the young core has done a good job of it so far. Prior to James getting hurt, the Lakers were one of the top teams in the Western Conference. While injuries have derailed the Lakers a little bit, they are still in the Top 8 in the Western Conference with James and Rondo now missing an extended amount of time. Considering the amount of time key players have missed, the Lakers have done well this season.
With a trade of the young core still being possible this season, here are three reasons why Kyle Kuzma should be untouchable in all trades.
