– Brandon Ingram

For the Lakers one of their key players all season has been Brandon Ingram. In his third season, there are a lot of expectations for Ingram that has he hasn’t quite lived up too. As a really young player, consistency is Ingram’s main issue right now as he tries to find his way in the league. Since he is a player that can do a lot on the court and play multiple positions, it’s not all that surprising that there have been some growing pains.

However, when Ingram plays well, the Lakers tend to win. Without James, scoring has been a big issue for the Lakers. With Kuzma as the second-leader scorer for the Lakers this season, he has taken over the role as the primary option with James out. We have seen Kuzma have some big scoring nights with James out, but the Lakers still need more on a nightly basis.

Ingram has the potential to score 20 points a night for the Lakers right now, but he hasn’t been able to do so consistently. If the Lakers want to have a chance of beating the Thunder, Ingram is going to have to score at least 20 points in order for them to keep up.
