Luke Walton may not make it through All-Star Weekend

Luke Walton is a good coach. Does he have his flaws? Sure, like his rotation patterns. The fact that he continues to believe that LeBron James is going to play the five-spot is mind numbing. Mike Muscala would have helped.

But he can no longer do anything with this team. The veterans are starting to turn on him and the young guys are going to watch their own back for the rest of the season.

In plain speak, Luke Walton has lost the locker room. In some way I feel bad for him because this is a set up for him to fail from the word go.

Luke Walton almost righted the ship with an unlikely win on the road against the Thunder and being an Lonzo Ball ankle sprain and a lucky shot by Eric Gordon from upsetting Houston in primetime. I actually became a fan. But I know a change has to be made. There are players that should take responsibility for this mess but players don’t get fired.

Coaches do.

The constant leaks exposed all of his weaknesses and they are too many to fight them all off.
