Kyle Kuzma was getting buckets…in all sorts of ways!

Kuzma came out aggressive looking to score early and often, like in the first minute of the game! Right here he was the trailer as Donovan Mitchell leads the break on the left side of the floor and tosses it off the backboard to Kuz for the slam dunk.

Let me help Luke Walton out when it comes to putting Kyle Kuzma in positions to succeed. Kyle Kuzma is most effective on the left side of the floor. One of the 3-pointers in the first half came from the left-wing that got him off to a roaring start in this game.

He can also finish with windmill dunks I see.

Finally, when Kyrie Irving did a Luke Walton-esque rotation decision starting Kuzma on the bench, Team USA was in trouble missing 11 shots in a row with the lead being cut to two. Well, Irving got smart and put Kuzma back into the game.

It was a good decision by the coach because when he took the ball to the cup, a few Team World players were making business decisions when they saw Kuz coming.

When he received that pass from De’Aaron Fox, Kuzma blew past Rodions Kurucs and with Cedi Osman waiting under the rim…No chance.

Kyle Kuzma shined in a way that other Lakers did not achieve in their opportunities in the up and comers showcase. But he did have help in this game. Let’s check them out.
