Lake Show Life sees your accomplishments

What makes LeBron James’ comments so troubling is that he is passing on the problems of the team to two players that he needs to make the playoff push. Some call it leadership. I call it a cop-out.

Brandon Ingram is far from being an issue considering he was the most aggressive Laker on the floor scoring a team-high 29 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, while dishing out 3 assists. He shot 10-for-18 from the floor including 3-for-4 from the 3-point line.

What was impressive about Brandon Ingram in this game was that he persevered even though he was corralled with three early fouls.

Brandon Ingram has really shown character throughout all of the drama for the last three weeks. He’s been the most consistent Laker on the squad through both the LeBron James injury and his return. He doesn’t get too high in wins like the Houston game and doesn’t get rattled in games like these.

Kyle Kuzma is going to be an interesting player to watch for the rest of the season on the other hand. Defensively Kyle Kuzma and LeBron seem to show their discontent when there are defensive breakdowns. It happened in the Houston win and it was very evident in this game.

Kyle Kuzma scored 16 points (on 7-for-14 shooting), scooped up 8 rebounds and handed out 7 assists.

This game shows that the Lakers are crumbling before everyone’s eyes. The locker room is divided and Luke Walton has to take responsibility.

He can’t continue to preach accountability and the defensive lapses continue to happen with the veterans with no cut in playing time.

It’s not going to work.
