LeBron James set a record for assists and had a triple-double for another

LeBron James passed the late Wilt Chamberlain for 5th place on the all-time triple-doubles list with 78. LeBron James scored 24 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 11 assists. But it is so hollow these days with the dysfunction and lack of leadership.

LeBron James also passed Andre Miller to make it in the top 10 in assists. He is the only player in NBA history to be in the top 10 in scoring and assists.

Stats are great, but LeBron James’ practice of hiding behind the analytics curtain is over because it is no longer a secret that he doesn’t play defense.

There is a phrase that the old school “Bad Boy” Pistons used to say during their championship run. Film don’t lie. There is no analysis for that other than LeBron James is starting to shut down and quit. The first two highlights, you saw that he didn’t move and the last one had LeBron James adjusting his jersey (Does anyone know what’s up with that?) while Joakim Noah tears the rim down.

In the second half, LeBron James shot 3-for-13 from the field with three turnovers.

But Luke Walton shares the blame in this. If he was paying attention to the horrid defense that was shown in the video, James should have been benched immediately. But the reward for that effort was a team-high 40 minutes.

This is the guy that questioned other players and their commitment in the locker room.
