3. Give some G Leaguers a chance
This has already taken effect with Johnathan Williams, Alex Caruso and Andre Ingram joining the Lakers roster over the last number of games. Their call ups have been well deserved.
So much respect has to be given to players in the G League, they refuse to give up on their dreams and play for little to no money compared to their NBA counterparts.
Andre Ingram is a prime example of someone who just loves the game, having played in the G League for 11 seasons. Ingram finally got his call up last season and he looked like he belonged. I truly hope he has a fantastic second stint with the Lakers and can land himself an NBA contract.
With Alex Caruso and Johnathan Williams, you have two guys who play hard on both ends of the floor and who will definitely garner some interest if they are able to play well in the time given. Caruso is a pure point guard who can run an offense and is a willing teammate on Defense.
With Williams, you have a power forward who is long and active. He is a capable shooter and attacks the rim and in his brief stint this season he has garnered attention league-wide. Here is hoping he shows out and lands a contract with the Lakers.
