D’Angelo Russell’s video leaks Nick Young’s admission of cheating on his then fiancee

There is one thing about social media that is very interesting to me. One, it’s one place where many fans don’t do their research when they blast the Lakers about the Russell trade while he puts up huge numbers.

Two, once something is put out there, whether it’s pictures, comments or video, it’s out there forever and God forbid if something bad goes viral. Thank God I only use it to promote my work. If D’Angelo Russell had used this disciplined thought, maybe he would still be in Los Angeles. Sadly for Nick Young, Iggy Azalea and Russell, a piece of video got out of a conversation of Young stepping out on his fiancee.

At the time Iggy Azalea was in the middle of her 15 minutes of fame. With the Lakers being the number one franchise in Los Angeles, everyone got in on it. Man, it was even on Entertainment Tonight

Let’s just say the press conference the two were at afterward was not about practice or the upcoming opponent.

After this incident, the Lakers would’ve taken anyone reading this article right now to replace Russell as the point guard. He was not playing well at the time anyway, plus the entire Lakers team turned on him…

"At a recent breakfast meeting, one source said, no Laker would sit with Russell at his table. The source added that, in another instance, Russell came into the locker room and sat next to guard Lou Williams, who got up and walked away. “It’s bad,” one team source told ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne. “It’s about as bad as it can get. There were trust issues already. Now there’s no trust.”"

The key word here is trust. There are reasons why certain sports writers get special access and information to locker rooms. The Ramona Sheburne’s to the Bill Plaschke’s or Rachel Nichols of the world. They have earned a reputation of keeping certain things from the public. Russell broke a cardinal sin in any sport.

What goes on in the locker room…STAYS IN THE LOCKER ROOM. Let’s hear from an expert Shannon Sharpe who definitely lays out the reason he agrees with Magic Johnson…

No amount of points and assists can make up this mess. As bad as things are in Laker land now, it does not compare to the embarrassment back then. The one thing you hear about Lonzo Ball is that his teammates love playing with him and for him. Think about how good a dude Lonzo has to be to be one of the most popular players in the locker room despite his father’s distractions.
