Los Angeles Lakers lose as Russell Westbrook has a historic night
By Ronald Agers
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is shooting lights out right now!
The score was not indicative of how close the game was. The Lakers played hard and were competitive for the most part. The reason why the game was close was because of the shooting of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Right now, he is the Lakers most consistent 3-point shooter by a mile, knocking down five 3-point shots in 10 attempts.

Ever since he got with his shooting coach a few weeks back, Caldwell-Pope’s confidence has been through the roof. He has played like the guy the Lakers dropped $17 million dollars on last year and gave $12 million this year. His play in the last two weeks is making the Lakers front office’s decision to keep him next year very interesting.
Can the Lakers afford to gamble another year on Caldwell-Pope, who was wildly inconsistent when the games mattered and all of a sudden shows up when the stakes are no longer high?
Another decision that the Lakers have to make…
