LeBron should squeak into an All-NBA spot

I don’t blame anyone who takes Aldridge over LeBron for that last spot. In fact, when I originally sat down to come up with All-NBA teams, I had Aldridge in that slot. But James’s case was made for me upon seeing him leading some of the “locks” in categories, while Aldridge never did.

In reality, I can’t imagine actual All-NBA voters leaving LeBron off their lists, just based on his name alone. In writing this article, I had first set out to argue against James making a team. Now, my hope is to show just how close this race really is.

The last time King James was not on All-NBA was in 2004. The Pistons won the title that year, the number one song was “Yeah!” by Usher, and the TV show Friends completed its tenth and final season.
