A shoulder dip into Brandon Ingram starts a huge brawl on ESPN!
I know it’s easy to forget this game. It seems like a lifetime ago since the infamous fight game happened. This was the second game of the season coming off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. It was also the game that taught me to watch all 48 minutes of the game before doing post game reports.
Remember how James Harden drove to the basket and lowered his shoulder on Brandon Ingram? Well, that started a situation that affected both teams for weeks with suspensions, issues in the crowd with families and some spittle…

No one saw it at the time, but looking back it showed how far LeBron James’ allegiance carried with the Lakers locker room. Social media had a field day clowning LeBron coming to Chris Paul’s defense. It went past the hardwood as well. It wasn’t the “Malace in the Palace” from years ago, but it was bad enough…
