James Harden and the Rockets need to play better
The Houston Rockets can complain about the referees all they want but they needed to play better. I will give them credit, they actually sent out an audit on how many potential points they lost last year because of missed calls from the referees in Game 7. In financial terms, the Rockets estimated they lost $20 million dollars. In my opinion, the 27 straight 3-point shots might have had something to do with it.

But let’s be clear here, James Harden got to the line 14 times in the game which is above his season average of 11. The Rockets got to the line 29 times which is above the season average of 24. They just got beat by a team with the best player in the world right now in Kevin Durant.
