The Lakers may be smart to pass on this one

Lake Show Life has worked hard to spotlight all of the potential draft selections in this upcoming draft. If you missed the previous pieces, they are all linked on the first page of this article. Again, with all of the uncertainty of the front office and coaching staff, the style of play is definitely in question.

No one knows who’s getting drafted at number four, but I will say based on what the Lakers have on the roster right now at this moment, Jarrett Culver is not the fit for the Lakers.

He needs the ball in his hands to be effective and with LeBron James on this roster handling the ball, a lot, Culver will struggle if he is required to stand in the corner and shoot 3-point shots.

Take LeBron out of the equation, you still have Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, all players that can handle the ball and will be required to do so.

Culver’s game in college was predicated with the ball in his hands making plays out of the pick and roll offense. When that scenario goes away, Culver struggles mightily because of his inability to knock down shots.
