2. Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball’s NBA career has been quite an interesting story. Drafted No. 2 overall, and before guys like Jayson Tatum, De’aaron Fox and Donavan Mitchell, Lonzo Ball has underperformed.

The 6’6″ point guard shot over 40% from beyond the 3-point line in college, but in the NBA has a laughable jump shot. Ball has proven to be offensively challenged but has also showcased himself as a terrific defender, passer, and rebounder.

While Lakers fans would love to see more from the 21-year-old, Ball has still drawn interest from other NBA teams. The New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, and Phoenix Suns all seem to think highly of the young guard, which shapes him into the second most valuable asset the Lakers have.

He’s only played 99 out of a possible 164 games but proves to have a positive impact on the team’s chances of winning with averages of 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists for his NBA career.

I don’t think Ball has the ceiling Ingram does, but he is a coveted point guard throughout the NBA, which may or not be expected, but true nonetheless.
