Trust (And Love!): Jeanie Buss

For those who don’t know, the elegant blonde woman in the stands who looks younger than she is is the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. Her name is Jeanie Buss and although she’s not the greatest owner in sports history like her father Jerry, she is dedicated truly in love with her Lakers organization.

During Kobe Bryant‘s jersey retirement ceremony, we saw Jeanie shed tears when giving her meaningful speech on her appreciation for Bryant, and learned that she would reprimand her own brother for the betterment of the Lakers organization.

Whether she is best fit to run an organization or not, an owner who is as dedicated and passionate for her team is one to love and appreciate.

Reports indicate that Buss is heavily influenced by the Rambis family in regards to running the Lakers, and that’s proven to be close to a catastrophic phenomenon for the Lakers organization. Jeanie needs to find the right people to listen to, and assist in running the Lakers, but she most definitely does not need to step down.
