Los Angeles Lakers: Who can be trusted in team’s front office?
Trust: LeBron James
Despite a disappointing season, the one person who has been impressively patient has been LeBron James. He hasn’t spoken to the media much in regards to the Lakers front office disarray and looks to be in for the long run.
A report surfaced several days ago that James would request a trade from the Lakers if they failed in free agency. Not only is this report vague in that it leaves fans unknowing of what a failure in free agency would look like, but it also didn’t come directly from James or people of James’ camp.
I ignored that report because I don’t think LeBron’s interested in leaving Los Angeles, whether it be for on-court or off-court reasons. James seems locked into remaining a Laker for the three more years he has under contract, and therefore Lakers fans should be grateful for LeBron’s dedication to their Lakers.
But, the front office needs to come through or things could get ugly for LeBron and company.
