AD Is 26 years Old:

For all the people who believe the Lakers would be hurting their future if they were to deal Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, the 4th overall pick and Josh hart for Anthony Davis, you may want to consider a few things.

Anthony Davis turned 26-years-old three months ago. An NBA player aged at 26, is more often than not considered young. Therefore, the Lakers would actually be acquiring young talent in return for young talent. Many are aware of Davis’ prime age, but still many argue the Lakers young core isn’t worth giving up, so let’s put some things into perspective.

Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram are 21. That’s extremely young, and the two of-drinking-age Lakers both have bright futures. That being said, pigs are more likely to fly than either Ball or Ingram ever reaching the stature of an Anthony Davis one day.

Josh Hart is 24 and Kyle Kuzma will also be this month. That’s just two years younger than Anthony Davis, which I’d say is worth losing on a player as good as AD. The number fourth pick is the big question mark. No one has any idea what the pick might turn into, but what we do know is that it’s out of the Lakers control. The Lakers would be trading an abundance of young players with nice potential, but receiving one in return. Oh, and he’s the best big man in the league today.
