1. Andre Iguodala is a seasoned NBA Champion

Andre Iguodala is an award-winning player in the NBA and College with a high basketball IQ and more:

  • 3× NBA champion (2015, 2017, 2018)
  • NBA Finals MVP (2015)
  • NBA All-Star (2012)
  • NBA All-Defensive First Team (2014)
  • NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2011)
  • NBA All-Rookie First Team (2005)
  • First-team All-Pac-10 (2004)

The Warriors suffered when they were without Iguodala. He was essential to the team winning the last three championships. After re-signing Andre to a $48 Million contract, Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr explained, per CBS Sports, that he was worth it, and he was right.

"“Are we overpaying in terms of his value on winning a championship? Hell, no. “Can you imagine us without him? No. He’s been worth every penny and more.” – Steve Kerr"

All of the experience Andre has in the NBA is priceless and needed to win championships. He is not done. Adding Danny Green, who won an NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014 and with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, was a stupendous move by the Lakers.

Adding Iguodala would give them one more experienced champion which the rest of the team will need to learn from.
