1.) The Lakers reach the Western Conference Finals.

This upcoming Western Conference playoffs is going to be a memorable one, with so many different teams vying for those two coveted Conference Finals spots. But I like the Lakers’ chances at being the Conference Finals for a number of reasons.

It’s no secret that the regular season and the playoffs are two completely different beasts when it comes to level of intensity and how the game is played, refereed, and coached. Playoff games and eventually series can sometimes come down to a handful of plays, and a bounce here, or a bounce there can ultimately decide the fate of entire franchises.

The point I am trying to make is that LeBron James is the most seasoned playoff and Finals veteran in the league, and has logged more playoff minutes than anyone else. He’s been in countless big moments, and is one of the few players I trust with the ball in their hands and the game on the line.

Also, it isn’t crazy to think that LeBron’s legacy will quite possibly be at stake this season as he looks to bounce back from a disappointing finish to a 2018-2019 season that saw him miss the playoffs entirely for the first time since 2005. I’m confident that LeBron will be dying to show the league that has forgotten how great he can be in these moments.
