2. He can play good defense

In signing Green and Dudley, the Lakers addressed their need for a strong wing defender. Between McGee and Anthony Davis, the Lakers have strong, if not elite rim protection and interior defense.

But they needed someone who could check guys like Lou Williams, Damian Lillard, Mike Conley, Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook.

They got that man in Avery Bradley.

He is great at not only hounding his man but also staying in front of him even after fighting through screens and trying to angle him off. He can also recover after getting beat by his man and contest his shot.

With a defensive-minded head coach in Frank Vogel, the purple and gold may now have the tools to be one of the best defensive teams in the association.
