1. Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis takes the title as the best big in the league. He is the most proven big man of the list and is in his prime at 26-years-old. Like every big on this list the thing he is missing a ring.
With the New Orleans Pelicans over the last five years particularly, he was the best big man in all of basketball. Over that five-year span he averaged at least 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He can do it all on both ends. He is a 6-time All-Star and a 3-time All-NBA Defensive selection.
People seem to forget that Davis averages an incredible 30.5 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 13 playoff games. Most of those production came against great Golden State Warriors teams.
Now teaming up with LeBron James and young rising star Kyle Kuzma, he has his best chance of success. The Lakers are expected to battle it out with teams like the Clippers and Jazz to get to the Finals. If Davis can stay healthy he can get the only thing he’s missing, and he will be on his way to becoming one of the best bigs ever.
