1. Luka Doncic

The only guy on this list who has great probability and potentially as a lock is Luka Doncic. Luka Doncic is special and he proved that in an incredible rookie season with Dallas. He won the Rookie of the Year Award and for 80% of the year, it looked unanimous until Trae Young closed it out strong making a small case.

Doncic had been one of the more hyped international prospects in some time, and unlike a majority of them, he succeeded right away. As a rookie, he was instantly Dallas’ best player putting up some great numbers.

He can do it all. He can score, pass, rebound, and defend multiple positions.

He led his team in all major categories as he put up 21.2 ppg, 7.8 rpg, and 6.0 apg. One can argue he had the best rookie season since LeBron James, who averaged 20.9 ppg and 5.9 apg.

He was even better after the All-Star break where he averaged 22.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists.

With a player like Kristaps Porzingis joining him, the Mavericks can make some noise and can be a threat to sneak into the playoffs.

This upcoming season Doncic will become a rarity, a superstar in year number two. I expect him to have a stat line that reads around 26 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. That’s something you only see LeBron James and Russell Westbrook do. The sky is the limit for the 20-year-old.

Honorable Mentions: Rudy Gobert, Devin Booker, Jamal Murray, De’Aaron Fox
