3. 3-point shooting
LeBron James championship led teams have always had guys who could spread the floor in Miami and Cleveland. The Lakers put an emphasis on getting guys who fit that bill in the offseason by bringing back KCP and bringing in Bradley, Dudley, Green, Daniels and Cook.
Spreading the floor is crucial for LeBron and AD. When you have guys who can consistently knock down 3-point shots, it allows LeBron and AD to get more space to operate in one on one situations. It only benefits the Lakers as those two guys are some of the best at their positions in iso situations.
James is one of the best in the game at driving and kicking and guys like Bradley and Green, who can just stand at the perimeter, have a green light thrive in those situations. Luckily for them, they will have the most space that they have ever had in their careers to shoot.
If you’re out there James will find you as witnessed here in 2017 when he had Kevin Love as a spot-up guy. His passes have so much zip to it that defenses don’t have time to react.

Dudley, Daniels and Cook aren’t big names, but they’re what they are. Simply put, they’re 3-point specialists and do well in that role.
Neither of that trio is looking for a spotlight. They’re coming in to knock down shots and I believe each of them will prove their value in this upcoming season in those roles.
