Anthony Davis will be the best No.1 pick LeBron James has ever played with.

LeBron James has never played a game where he was not the best player on the roster. If he’s not the best player on the Los Angeles Lakers roster, the rest of the NBA could be in real trouble.

On October 22nd, 2019, Anthony Davis will become the best No. 1 overall pick that LeBron James has ever played with. Period and it won’t be close.

LeBron James has won championships with Kyrie Irving and Dwyane Wade, but they were not an interior presence like Davis.

Kyrie Irving was dynamic in his own right, but needed James to open up avenues to operate. Wade’s knees were on the decline the second LeBron came to Miami so it LeBron doing the heavy lifting.

With Anthony Davis demanding double teams from the parking lot,  James’ ability to handle the basketball and facilitate for others sets up a dynamic that LeBron was looking for when Shaquille O’Neal went to Cleveland seasons prior.

If LeBron James understands the balance to make this partnership effective, the NBA will watch LeBron and the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Kentucky win the title.

There’s one last No.1 pick to talk about. He counts too.
