4. Lamar Odom
The Candy Man was born to play in Los Angeles. Although physically born in New York, his soul belongs to Hollywood. He spent 12 of his 14 career years playing in Los Angeles, both as a Laker and a Clipper.
Lamar Odom was part of those Los Angeles Lakers back-to-back NBA champions, therefore a major contributor to the 2010 title. He was part of the three-big-man rotation that together with Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum made the triangle offense so lethal and so spectacular.
Odom was one of the first power forwards to play point guard, with his 3-point shooting, playmaking and passing skills making him the perfect initiator in the triple-post offense.
In 2012 he won the Sixth Man of the Year Award averaging 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
Unfortunately, the vetoed Chris Paul trade caused malcontent in Odom who felt betrayed by the Lakers organization and asked to be traded anyway, leading to a rapid decline in his career. Had he agreed to remain a Laker, his career would have probably lasted longer.
