Zach Norvell led the Lakers in scoring and shut the Staples Center down!
Zach Norvell Jr. will probably be in the G-League this season with the South Bay Lakers (Prediction: They will win the championship!), but this dude has talent. He is confident and is not scared to shoot the ball.
Norvell came out in the opening frame firing scoring 10 points and setting the tone for the Lakers offense early. In 33 minutes, Norvell led everyone in the building with 22 points on 6-for-13 shooting including three shots from long distance.
Really Lakers fans, who cares about Norvell’s stats. This play right here is the only one that matters. It just sums up the night. Apologies to Jordan Poole for bringing this up.

To be honest, there could be a debate on what was better. The nasty move that put Poole on all fours that led to the 3 point play or LeBron James’ reenactment.
That move and the reaction of the bench brought back memories of another crossover that made the Staples Center and the bench go wild. Apologies to Jeff Green for bringing up old stuff.
The memories of Lance Stephenson was evident in the Staples Center when he crossed Jeff Green seemingly out of Washington to Utah on this move and dropped a jumper in his grill. Anytime Lake Show Life can get a Lance Stephenson reference in, it’s a fun report.
Zach Norvell Jr. could be the next in the growing line of budding young talent for the Los Angeles Lakers coming out of South Bay. Whether Norvell is balling in the G League or the NBA working his 2-way contract, this dude is going to be fun to watch this season.
