3. Bron and the Brow

When you have two offensive juggernauts on your team, you’re bound to put up some high scoring nights on the regular. James and Davis are as good as it gets in that area. Westbrook and Durant led OKC to the best offense in the league a few times, Wall and Beal have Washington near the top when healthy, and so on.

What the Lakers have that those teams didn’t have is the right mix of players and shooters that could make their jobs easier. It’s best to point to those two teams to compare because sometimes those teams would beat teams 2 on 5 when their offenses went stagnant.

So, surrounding your duo with the right group of players will go a long way in helping guide a long season. It will also make their job easier in terms of scoring and also keep them fresh each night by minimizing their usage rates and getting them more rest.

James isn’t getting any younger and Davis has been injury-prone, so the Lakers need to work on getting them ample time to rest and reducing their workloads so that they will be full-go come May.

But, they will also have their nights where they will need to carry themselves and they’re more than capable of doing that because there is no one on one matchup that either of those players is losing many times.
