2. LeBron James

There are a lot of people that want to see LeBron James fail, for whatever reason. In the season-opening loss to the LA Clippers, James looked a little sluggish. Father Time is undefeated and could be catching up to James. The Jazz would argue that is not the case.

James had a dominant performance against Utah to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to their first win of the season. He finished the game with a team-high 32 points, going 12-of-22 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line. James got into the post on multiple occasions and just bullied whoever it was defending him, whether it was Jeff Green, Joe Ingles or Royce O’Neale.

James looked extremely comfortable on the offensive end, as his playmaking was also on full display. He finished the game with 10 assists, as his teammates shot over 70 percent off his pass attempts. Arguably the most impressive part of his offensive stat line is that he had only one turnover in the game, a marked improvement upon the five he had against LA.

James’ line was rounded out with seven rebounds and one steal. If James can do this against a defensive-minded team such as the Jazz, the rest of the league should watch out.
