Los Angeles Lakers fans! Let Lake Show Life introduce: Troy Daniels!
LeBron James had plenty of room to operate in the second half. Some of it had to do with Troy Daniels’ ability to knock down the 3-point shot. He knocked down four of them in eight tries.
Daniels spread the floor well for the stars to operate, scoring 15 points (On 5-of-9 shooting!) with three rebounds and a steal. Now Frank Vogel has another name to add to the backcourt mix with Rajon Rondo soon to make a return. Quinn Cook took notice, he was seen working on his jump shot after the game.
Let’s talk Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for a second.
The first game, KCP got roasted by Kawhi Leonard on the floor and the fans off of it when he scored zero points. In this game, he scored one. Got booed by the crowd and it was bad enough the LeBron James gave him a pep talk after the horn sounded.
Frank Vogel is going to have to think about benching this guy. It’s one thing to have a cold shooting streak. It’s another to just be playing bad. His confidence is gone. Look at his face, the game is going faster than he is at this point.
The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. Lake Show Life will have total post-game coverage.
